Darian is a first time mom, who loved watching Charmed as a child. She always loved the name Phoebe from it, and got lucky that her husband, Josh loved the name as well.

How did their family find out that they were expecting?

“I told my mom almost immediately because she’s my mom. Lol and I told the rest of the family on my dad’s birthday by getting him a grandfather t-shirt.“

Typically while babies are growing in the belly, moms-to-be will have a variety of cravings.

“I did have foods I knew I absolutely did NOT want to eat. More so pregnancy food aversions.”

Being first-time parents, the birth of little 7 lb. 3 oz. and 20.5″ Phoebe went quickly and smoothly.

“Phoebe was born on her due date! And by 25 minutes!” Isn’t that lucky?!

Even though they knew they always wanted children, they were just waiting for the right time. And with being a parent, life can have its ups and downs. Everything, even the hard stuff, is one of the best things about being a parent.

“Even though it’s hard at times, it’s true what they say. She is the best thing that’s ever happened and we’ve never loved anyone so much.”

I couldn’t agree more! But what comes is the surprising parts, such as how hard it can be.

“Especially freshly postpartum. I’m 29, and my husband is 30, so we weren’t naïve but you never truly know how difficult it can be until you do it yourselves.”
